BTW Your Zero has no markings which is a violation of international law. Even if you should survive the battles at the end you will be hung as a war criminal. But don't let that distract you from your missions to come.:D

Did I ever mention how overrated international law is?

if it gives us reason to execute someone then it is not overrated.

Well i have flown alot of aircraft on flight sim over the last 10 years everything from harriers from carriers and F18's to E3 awacs and sea king helo's ive flown fighters tankers transports and passenger jets big and small.

But today i found a little helicopter that is well rather nice to fly.
Ive spent what about 400 hours over 10 years flying helo's thats not alot compaired to well over 15,000 hours in fixed wing aircraft.

So here goes:

This is my MI-8 helicopter boarding at KORD readying up for some training and we also had a duty to observe landings and approaches on vatsim as well which was kind of unusual for me today.

Side view with our main door open obviously we dont have the main 5 blade rotor going have not yet got clearence to start her up.

Frontal view of the MI-8 on the ground shes not a huge helicopter but large (no where near the size of the MI-26) i do want to have a go at trying to fly one of those one day.

Thats me hovering near the fuel storage tanks just off the airport shortly after we had to watch in a 757 from dallas american airlines landed safely and hover taxiied him to the gate.

Oh, are you talking about the picture inside the 109 cockpit? It comes with the modded cockpit over at the place we aren't allowed to talk about

I just thought I'd drop in and show you guys some of the wacky stuff I fly around.
Note, I am playing full realism, with crashes unchecked. I know when I crash, which is very rarely, but sometimes things happen, so I exit out when I do.

Gee Bee Z "Sportster"
Yup, the notorious Gee Bee, the only plane Doolittle was scared to fly :D
very torquey and nose-heavy, take-offs have to be done with no flaps, and full right rudder, else you will soon find yourself out in the grass!

Dornier DO-X
The famous 12-engined flying boat. Trust me, it takes all 12 to get this thing off the water. the turn you see in the screenie was accomplished after about 10 seconds hard on the stick, no letting up on the turn. It's a TANK in flight, but wonderful on the water taxiing :)

And my pride and joy,
the Aerosoft
Hughes H-1
I am simply obsessed with this plane. Its pretty, it flies nice. But don't let it fool you, it is downright mean. The first 10-15 minutes of your flight is solely looking at the panel, changing your mixtures, prop pitches, and making sure you keep your throttle under the red-line in the Manifold pressure. This is a pic of the cockpit, it's very utilitarian. I like that. You can see that I'm running Okey-dokey, by looking at the three gauges to the right of the stick, Manifold pressure is okay, oil temp is in the green, and carburetor temp is well under 4 there, and that's good, a fine plane, well worth the money!

And taxied to the parking space after a 1.5 hour flight from chicago to my hometown VFR. Note the size of the wings. fast flight :D

What have you flown today?:yeah:

(cross-posted from mod thread)

We were to provide top cover for the poor sods stuck on convoy escort duty down below, climbed up to angels fifteen and sweep along the Kent coast from Dover towards Margate. Jerry showed up shortly after we swung over Deal and laid into the escorts, our leader veered off to port and dived onto some yellow nosed bastards and me and three followed suit. After that, it dissolved into the typical one on one, I covered the skipper for a while and then lost him but found a 109, gave him a seeing too and then found he'd brought a friend who was determined to protect him, I, on the other hand, was not so lucky and had to break away from Jerry, and every time I tried to re-engage one, the other would swing behind me, one of them got a hit on the engine and glycol started spewing all over the shop, tried to continue the dogfight but couldn't aim through the glycol and called it a day. RTB'd and CTD'd.
