Wolfpack UnityPlayer.dll Error
Hi all,
Wolfpack has started crashing on boot with a UnityPlayer.dll access violation error. I've tried verifying game integrity, reinstalling, running both stable and beta, reinstalling my graphics card drivers and reverting my graphics card drivers to the last update, to no success. The error file text is below. Any help resolving this issue would be appreciated greatly Code:
Wolfpack [version: Unity 2017.3.1f1 (fc1d3344e6ea)] |

This may have to do with one of the following:
1. Crappy antivirus/firewall/antimalware software. It's basically all junk and actually harmful unless you are using one of the huge name brands (the latter are merely a ripoff in that they actually tend to work). The best advice I can give is, uninstall it all and use the built-in Windows Defender. 2. "Mods"/tinkering. When you uninstall Wolfpack, be sure to go into the Steam game directory and physically delete the Wolfpack directory before reinstalling. This effectively gets rid of any extra files that otherwise would persist between reinstalls. |
I was having the same issue. The problem was occurring during a call to a UnityPlayer dll. I found others had to uninstall Citrix Workplace to resolve this and it worked for me as well. I uninstalled Citrix Workplace on my machine and Wolfpack is working fine now.
This may not be applicable to you if you don't have Citrix Workplace installed on your machine. |
