Different type VII types stats/compared

I've looked on google and the rather shallow wiki but couldn't find anything. Neither did the (extremely over the top convoluted) stickies here give me any resources.

I'm looking for the in-game differences between the sub-types. Dive times, crush depths, fuel capacity, battery capacity, upgradability, etc., etc.

I'm not interested in generalised statements or anecdotes. Only mined, published or scienced resources.

P.S. running the Wolves Of Steel recommended mod package.

I can give you one thing you do not need a resource for...

The type A had one external aft torpedo tube. You can’t reload, and the number of torps are limited along with fuel.

And type 7C were used in the “black gap” and Operation Drumbeat. They had more fuel.

Hope that helps!

So why check external resources?
What a REAL 7c could do may not be the best settings in Game.
That has been debated for YEARS now!

You obviously haven't read what I asked. I even specifically asked for resources about the in-game subs (implying that I'm not assuming them to be the same as historical subs).

But thank you for assuming what I meant and not actually proving helpful. :Kaleun_Salute:

Implying is a twisted road.
Why ask about in-Game if you want real world facts?
They are 2 different things!
I'd suspect you'd think GTA Cars are real world settings from your post.

Sorry to even respond.
Won't happen again.

Are you absolutely retarded or just trying to insult me now? I LITERALLY asked for resources on the IN-GAME SUBS.

I don't know how else to phrase it. You're the moron who keeps saying I'm comparing apples and oranges. You're the moron who brought up the real life historical ships in the first place.

All I can tell you that at about 175 m, your KDB will be destroyed (which apperaently is historically accurate), but you can go below 200 m in TwoS. I haven't found out the exact max dephts either.

But you could test it yourself. Save the game, start diving and see for yourself when your boat gets destroyed instead of throwing a fit and insulting people. This is a pretty friendly community, not a youtube comment section.

Syphax, what makes you think the "morons" on this site can find something on the internet, if you can't? Have you tried
https://www.uboat.net
Even it doesn't have all of the stats. There is a lot of such data lost to time and purposeful destruction. Look for a book at the local library maybe. "Attitude" goes a long way though.

Yet I remain baffled at how many times I need to repeat the same simple fact; I'm looking for resources on the in-game subs. NOT NOT NOT NOT the historical ones. E.g. I'm looking for stats pulled from the game files, and so on.

This site you posted is about RL uboats. I quite specifically and repeatedly said I'm not interested in that.

Attitude goes a long way, so do reading skills.

Get a copy of S3d and start opening the Sub files.
Also look at the other files with NotePad.
It's all there!

I could write a script to extract it all I suppose.
But being a Village Idiot? (or Retarded as you put it)
I think I'll pass.

:har:

And I'd suspect there is a WHOLE BUNCH of people here that know what I can do with the files in the SH Games!

Now. Having said that. I'm willing to be polite if you are.

Cool heads if we can be so kind.

TIA

I'm trying really really hard!
And you know how off the trigger I could be!

1st.
I highly doubt you will find the IN-GAME SUB stats anywhere on the 'Net.
Those are in the files like the .sim and cfg files for each Sub.
Add in the fact that any given Mod may change those at anytime.

2nd
The easiest way to view the .sim files is with S3d WITH the SH5 changes.
Should you need those? I can provide a link.

3rd.
I am HIGHLY proficient at extracting and/or changing files for the SH Games.
Not saying I'm the best. But I figure I rate in the TOP 5.
I'm not a young kid playing around. I'm 62 years old and you'd be amazed at my programming. Not just SH Games. Others also. Now I'm Custom programming for the Cannabis Industry.
Imagine that! :D

4th.
I could be your best resource or be a Richard and leave you hanging on the line you seem to have strung for yourself.
