February 25, 1916
In retaliation for the slaying of his mentor, Oblt. von Niemenbaum, Lt. Wenzl sends a Farman F40 down in flames over the front. He quickly engages another and sends him down, too, without an upper wing.

Major James Bigglesworth in his Sopwith Triplane, near Albert, late spring/early summer 1917. VC, 71 claims, 36 confirmed. Photo taken by a fellow pilot from RNAS-10.

In the future, I'll watch for your Tripes.
|
You'd better do that. Although I'm not a big fan of the Tripe, it's undoubtly the one that has given me most claims. It can be extremely fast at times (compared to that eras standards) and can sure take a beating, but is somewhat slow in turns. It has a high ceiling too!

Nice pictures.:D

I have RB3D but not Full Canvas Jacket (You have to pay for that, right?)
Anyway, it's a great game |

I was talking about the normal Full Canvas Jacket, I have Western Front

Is that not a Hurri?
|
It is a Hurri, but I think he was referring to TarJak.

Bigglesworth heads home after a busy day at the front (note the bulletholes). This was his last flight with his trusty Sopwith Tripe. Shortly after his return to the squadron, he was ordered by the airbase doctor to stay on the ground for at least a week, due to a number of health reasons. When he returned to duty, RNAS-8 had been equipped with the topmodern Sopwith Camel!

If you want, I could make you a copy of the files and send it to you (copyright is nonexistent for FCJ now). |
Here you see Major James Bigglesworth (VC) taking his first flight in his brand new Sopwith Camel!

Here's a picture of a Nieuport 11:

@Stealth Hunter: Think I'll stick with Western Front for now
Anyway, we managed to make a mess once more, think we lost 5 planes (That piller of smoke is the remains of my plane and Schultz's tower and truck after the entirely accidental collision) http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/9760/pwnageiw3.jpg |
I didn't review the track yet, but I sure hope your encounter with Schultz is on tape
