What does this mod do, exactly ?

It does everything really, adds realism patches in, essential graphic and gameplay mods, ships etc. Basically its a modified GWX 3.0 to look better and is more realistic difficulty wise.

I found this mod recently and fell in love. God save the author:)
I'm using Onealex 1.52, no other mods, and have a few questions:
-started a career in 1st flotilla on IIA uboat. Can i change IIA for VIIB uboat somehow or i need a strat new career? In GWX mode, I could buy IID or VIIB for renown points.
-On the map F5 in the upper right corner you can find a pop-up compass repeater. Sometimes another tool pops up in this place - an attack disk or similar. It would be great to use it, but I can't figure out how to find it. It only pops up randomly. Is it a bug?
-I strongly need advice how to find enemy ships. Sailing to the east coast of GB - AN55, 52, 47, dive on 30-40m and use hydrophone - nothing. Some times small coastal vessel, but most of time - silence. Tried sail to the Orkney islands - only bunch of warships there:( All the ships that I sank so far, I met on the surface somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic:(

Can you jump on the Onealex discord so we can help you easier, i think you may have a left over installation or files. This mod doesn't require you to have vanilla sh3 installed, it has the game all built into it.

Thank you for your reply.
The mod was downloaded into a new folder, extracted from the zip file and installed.
Sh3.exe > JSGME > Commander all set to Windows 7 compatibility and administrators.

Try doing another fresh install of the mod but do it this way instead.

INSTALLATION
1. Unpack the mod preferably using 7zip and install to your main C://drive folder, however DO NOT install to your Program Files.
2. Right click on the SH3.exe, JSGME.exe and SH3Cmdr.exe files and go to properties then under 'compatibility tab' set run this program in windows 7 then select run as administrator (click apply).

3. Then run the game using the SH3.exe shortcut so that the game creates a save folder in your documents folder of your PC.
4. Set the parameters to English, German speech and English keyboard language then exit the game.
5. Use the JSGME.exe in the main SH3 folder to install the necessary submods you want to use then select SH3Commander.exe in the SH3Commander folder.
6. Check the box "Rollback automatically after exiting SH3", and choose the desired game options.

7. Launch the game by pressing Launch SH3! (blue tick), in the future run the game only through SH3 Commander. Enjoy!!!

So far so good found 2 missing files in the SH3 Alex game folder SH3Sim.act & EnvSim.act, copied both missing files from a SH3 pristine copy I have in reserve.

Game loads ok, now gone 3.00am so I am off to bed.

Maybe this was asked before, but...Is there some full interior working in this mod? Do you have a modlist with full interiors using OneAlex?
