Nice pics :) I read somewhere about an escort ship. Never used it tho.

And after all the trouble modders went to make them. Rubini's Harbour Traffic mods have an option to have minefields and subnets it friendly ports. In some of them you pretty much have to follow the escorts. At the start of each patrol one of the first ships you see will be a flotengebleiter or verpostenboot, which immediately starts sailing out of the harbor. That's the escort.

I agree, the smoke looks really good - when you are at a distance. I think the standard GW smoke looks better up close.
Very cool with high smoke, though. |
