Own ship sound
 

I cannot find any way to turn this down. There is no setting for it unless you turn your system volume down.
Then of course you can't hear the sonar noises.


Find it very strange and kind of dumb that the own ship sound is SO loud!


Anyone know of a setting to resolve this?

Could someone who is on the Red Roger forum or whatever it is ask them to fix this or at least ask if there is a way to reduce the sound?


I can't seem to get into that forum cos when I try and register it shows up in Russian lol

What exactly platform you have this problem with?

I basically play the LA SSN Fleet III class.
I just launched Seawolf 23 and same thing. The OS sound is extremely loud there also.


Sorry lol but being on a Sub is NOT loud at all and you don't hear any constant rumbling like in the game

Indeed, it appears that settings for the sound volume (in Options) hold true only for nav map and not the rest of the stations. There is a message though in Sound Options that sound stuff(drivers, 3D sound, etc.) was not found. That could be the reason as well.
