Thanks for your interest in supporting Subsim. :Kaleun_Salute:

No Paypal? No worries. So, if you do not wish to use Paypal, the next best way is Amazon, simply send an Amazon e-gift card

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...cg_gclptcg_2a1

to this e-mail: paypal@subsim.com

Change the amount to what you want to donate and be sure you include your Subsim forum name in the message section.

Good hunting!
Neal

I don't have amazon account. It is the last option?

Onkel Neal 12-06-19 03:18 PM

Open an Amazon account.

Ahoy!
Could not get into the thread linked below in order to get S3F:

https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...d.php?t=212462
Could you help me out?

Onkel Neal 12-15-19 10:37 AM

That thread is kaput. What thread/page were you directed from?

THEBERBSTER 12-15-19 11:26 AM

Hi Mussalo
You are referring to BL!TZKR!EG's S3F front end which is no longer available on Subsim.

It seems it is mentioned a few times in various threads, but at least in here:

Thanks for the info Onkel Neal and Peter!

Hi Mussalo, ok, for reasons I don't want to go into, that guy was asked to leave. He was a terrific modder but there were some serious issues with installing his stuff. I could not in good conscience give him a green light on offering his files here. Thanks for understanding.

Fair enough. You got to keep the site clean and safe for users.

Care to explain what you mean by that?
I am running S3F here, no issues at all.

THEBERBSTER 12-20-19 05:50 PM

Hi CPQ
While you have S3F and are no doubt familiar with it, any newcomer will not have the benefit of getting any feed back if there are questions or issues that need to be replied to.
Removing S3F and his other works was really the only option for Neal to take under the circumstances at the time.
This really is a closed subject and needs no further discussion.

THEBERBSTER, no need to choke me off like this! That software (S3F) has never had any 'installation issues', I have watched its thread from the beginning. I did not want to discuss personal anymosities that some have.

Besides that, I did not ask you, I asked Onkel Neal, who has in the meantime replied in private and now I understand why this helpful tool is swept under the carpet.

What a pity, the tool is very good.
