Game won't run anymore

I haven't played this game in a long time, so when I went to fire it up, it acts like it's going to start but never does. Any ideas why it won't start? The internet is connected, so maybe it's not talking to their server or something.:06:

How long is a long time? Was it before or after they introduced StormPowered?

You may want to go to the SES site and grab the latest StormPowered client and re-download the game through it. The old DRM no longer actually works, so that may be why.

Yup, they've replaced the original DRM with a Steam-like client. On the plus side, you can now set the game to "offline mode" and not have to deal with internet connection requirements anymore.
