Another peek!

Tanks woofiedog and Priscalan,
I have another image it's the drivers compartment.
I have the (painful) decision to make on what details
to leave in and what to leave out. Alredy the total
Panther interior is a whooping 37000 plus vertices so
I what to focus on what will be seen in the game.
This image was a quick render in the modeling program
with out texture maps that will be used in the game.
This is definitely not finished but gives you an idea of
what we're all be waiting on.
Note: the seat was moved back to get a better view

Hi ZeeWolf,

nice to see your new Panther model, looks very promising!

By the way, what's your roadmap for 2013?
Can we expect new tanks, like Tiger II or some other russian tanks?

Kane

Hallo flying-kane,
like I said, I am working about a year behind
schedule, so no new announcements until I get
caught up.
But just to remind everyone, before I got
this day job the hours per day that went in to
Project ZeeWolf was a minimum of 8 hours a day.
Although if I told the actual time spend you
probably would not believe it :)
I really miss those days however. But the reality
is, I had to take a job because Project ZeeWolf
was not generating enough income. As retirement
age nears (my age is 58) I need to be ahead. :yep:
But the good news is there is no plan to stop or
change my long term plans concerning T34 vs Tiger.

FINALLY! the Panther interior is done and is working!

Finally I can report the new playable Panther Ausf. D is complete. :woot:
With some very fine tweaks and as soon as the new Panther mission is complete, I will send it out to all whom have been so patient.
It has been a long road to get here. The amount of work and research has
opened up some of the last mysteries of T34 vs Tiger and I can truly say
the next Playable tank will be much easier to produce.
The Panther Ausf D has been a wise choice to tackle first, like the original,
it will be the one to work out the teething issues.
After I send this new update out the details on renewing 2013 membership
will be posted. And hopefully get some new members too.
Some images of the Panther's driver's seat-

Panther Ausf D due at the front tomorrow!

KAMERADEN!:woot:
The latest update is now complete and I plan to release tomorrow.
The Playable Panther Ausf D update which has been a huge effort to
finally finished. I have to say this was no easy task, it has been
six months from the last update but I am happy to share it with
my members with much more to come. However, I do not see any
updates taking this long again, most will be 1 - 3 months between
each new release, although I am always behind now I'm working two
jobs, my commitment is firm.
The Panther Ausf A and Ausf G will come much sooner now the hardest
part [interior model] is done. The changes to the later model's
interior will be much easier using the modified D interior.:yep:
And of course the new Panther comes with a new addon called
"Panthers of 1943" where both the Ausf A and Ausf D play a huge
roll in some awesome battle history on the Russian Front.:)

The hotfix worked prefectly and other than that small problem the Panther Ausf D is a beast out in the field.

It has speed, maneuverability, great gun for those long shots and excellent armor... what a ride! :D

Thank's Zeewolf

Hi ZeeWolf and friends !!

I have read that in the latest updates ZeeWolf has been working to increase the Frames Per Second obtained in the missions. The very low FPS were really a problem for me in this sim.

Has this work produced noticeable results?

I know it depends on the specific mission but how many FPS are you getting now with the latest update? Can you give me some numbers please?

Thank you very much for your help !!

Hi Txema,
I think it's pretty close to the default games FPS in the missions that has
the stock sized terrain and a much improved FPS in the mega terrain.
My PC has a 3.0Ghz duel processor with a GTX 560 graphics card and 3 gigs of Ram running Win XP.
