Ability to abandon ship?
 
Open question to anyone with experience in modding SH5 - how could one approach implementing an option to abandon ship? Has anyone tried, could it be even theoretically done?

I'd love to have such a choice - fight on, risking sinking with all hands, or surface and bail out while I still can. I thought of maybe trying to use officers special abilities for this - something on the lines of "Bosun, get crew into escape sets and bail out." order that can only be issued on the surface and triggers the game over screen after a timer runs out. Barring the game over screen, it would pretty much function like external torpedo reload does now in TWoS.

Maybe it wouldn't add much from gameplay perspective, but a someone who loves to roleplay I'd prefer to end the game with my character and his crew in a scenic Canadian POW camp than on the bottom of Atlantic.
