Das Boot Tower for SH3

Hello KaLeuns!
:salute:
I noticed that the tower of U96 in the film "Das Boot" is shorter than ours in SH3? :-? I've searched a long time and i found out that this version of the tower was on early Typ VIIC boats. I want to play SH3 like in the movie but this tower s**ks with the "Das Boot" emblem and it doesn't really look like in the movie. Are there any modifications to fix that?

thx for answers

If you would like, I could make the conning like this if you want...

Frenchy849 06-01-12 01:35 PM

Will it still have engine exhaust and water streams?

U570 06-01-12 04:54 PM

All that will be changed is the Turm model, so it doesn't change the water streams. I can add some water streams to the conning tower deck if you like

that would be great! :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up: ty for help! :D

I've done most of the work, but so far, I'm having trouble with the Flak and crew models, but nothing too serious. And I cannot put up screenshots of it, because stupid Windows thinks SH3 is just a black screen.

How's it going? I hope you've finished it soon :)

Slight problem? I could probably release it unfinished, but I might end up with a job with Ubisoft or EA games...

Sry, Mate! I was just asking how the status is. You can take you time! You dont have to hurry. And i think we all dont want that your exellent work will end up like the projects of Ubisoft and EA. ;):yep::yeah:

From this

You can see the real thing is level with the wedge shape on the Turm.

Looks great! But youre right, its not the right shape. The back part is not so diagonally, more vertical and the upper part is curved. I just wanted to write, that from the length the tower is like the VIIB. But you did a great work right now! ;) We all support you and wait till the end of your brilliant work!! :) :salute:
