Setting an Exact Course

Is there any way to set an exact heading than continually playing with the compass rose? It's kind of frustrating! :hmmm:

Look under Navigator Commands along the bottom row. There should be a button that says something like "Plot Course" as you view the Nav Map. Press this button and you'll see a line extending from your ship that is controlled by your mouse. Point anywhere on the map, then left click to set a waypoint. Continue setting additional waypoints in other directions for your entire course. Use the eraser to delete waypoints.

There's also a button for " Return to Course" that you'll need to correct for any manual course adjustments you've made.

For quicker use, I have both commands set up as Keystrokes in my Commands menu.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks for your input. That's what I've been using. I knew there was a simpler way to do it. I finally found the hotkey I was looking for. The '-' sign will give you heading to view.
