In Memoriam
On October 11, 2009 passed away.
Charles David Morgan, known to us as Nagrom became the latest casualty of the VietNam War, succumbing to the effects of Agent Orange 3 days before his 60th birthday. In Memoriam on the Steel Sharks SH3 Community |
Thank You Dargo for posting this information.
I knew Nagrom only in cyberspace as a member of the WPL and a player of the late WPL SH3 Dynamic Campaign. Nagrom was always there to help me in ways no one else would step forward and do. After finding out that he was VietNam war vet and a United States Marine. I knew why he was always there to help. He is now in the Greatest Land of all. Heaven. May God rest his soul. CTU_Clay |

Very sad news.
May he Rest In Peace. Salute! |
I has been nearly three years since my last visit here and so I was very sad indeed to read Dargo's post informing that Nagrom had died. Indeed a name from the past for us oldies.
My sympathy goes out to his family. Old Man (Portsmouth UK) |
NAGROM ONCE ASKED ME IF I HAD EVER HAD SOME OF THEM QUINT LITTLE CAKES THAT THE QUEEN MOM LIKES THAT YOU GET IN THOSE NICE LITTLE TEASHOPS WITH THE LACE TABLE CLOTHS
OVER IN ENGLAND I JUST BURST OUT LAUGHING HE WAS A REAL NICE GUY I'M GUNA MISS HIM SO MUCH HE WAS THE SALT OF THE EARTH YOU NEVER HEARD HIM COMPLAIN ABOUT HIS ILLNESS HE JUST TOOK IT IN IS STRIDE HE WAS ONE TUFF OLD BUZZARD IT WAS A PLEASURE & PRIVILEGE TO KNOW HIM The minstrel boy to the war has gone, In the ranks of death you'll find him; His father's sword he hath girded on, And his wild harp slung behind him; "Land of Song!" cried the warrior bard, (Should) "Tho' all the world betrays thee, One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard, One faithful harp shall praise thee!" The Minstrel fell! But the foeman's chain Could not bring that proud soul under; The harp he lov'd ne'er spoke again, For he tore its chords asunder; And said "No chains shall sully thee, Thou soul of love and brav'ry! Thy songs were made for the pure and free They shall never sound in slavery! http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/9283/marinesy.jpg REGARDS blackswan40 AKA UPHOLDER HERES A SONG FOR A BRAVE MARINE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kikk22B4mH8 |
