Ah, been a while since I played Black Shark...

Arclight 08-08-10 01:13 PM

Still waiting for a certain Dutch person. :D

Seems like they'll release A-10C before that patch though. :-?

Got my joystick! :woot:

My first flight with the stick did not go very well..

Hmm, not particularly good. The fuel tanks were emptied in the middle of a flight due to a leak. (Got a hit to them in the fight against so(L)viet bombers)

Well the positive side is that the pilot lives another day. Vengeance!

Aah, the old grass is the new sky approach...I've seen that view many many many many many many many times. :yep:

In other news, just took a P3C NOAA Hurricane hunter for a short sprint from Norwich to Mildenhall...very nice aircraft to fly and I even managed to land the damn thing...at night! :o:doh:

:timeout: For some reason, that aircraft looks ½ scale.:o:hmmm:

Oberon 08-15-10 08:17 PM

Hmmm...does look a little off-scale when compared to the others, doesn't it? :hmmm:

Anyway...I've found a conspiracy!
Every time I take a jetliner to Europe and try to land at an airport, it's either raining or it's foggy...I can't see the damn airport until I'm almost on top of it and wind up smashing into the runway at 280kts. :damn:

Crécy 08-16-10 02:12 AM

Bad day. Just when I turned to the airfield for a landing engine decided to choke and I had to land to that little strip of land. The results of the landing looks actually similar to landings to the runway and with an intact airplane.. :hmmm:

Schroeder 08-16-10 05:39 AM

If you have to land a fighter somewhere in the nature you should do a belly landing. Even if you manage to set the plane down nicely on the wheels, the bumpy ground is very likely to flip you over sooner or later.
