A new podcast - what would YOU like to hear about?

Ahoy!

I am currently producing an all-new podcast named A History Of Submarines.

It's going to be in the vain of 'Revolutions' and Dan Carlin's pods.

It covers submarine history right from the start to where we are now, with extra pods like Specials, Battles, Accelerators & Innovators & Aces behind a paywall. (These *are* extras, folks, and I too have to make a living :) )

Now, what would YOU like to hear about in the podcast? What subject would you like me to - ahem - dive into, research, turn the spotlight on?

I'm currently recording on or about 24 base pods, with many more special editions to come. So I'd like to hear from you and expand!

Chrs,

Well, anything about British subs in WWII, the US Navy's new torpedo, those topics interest me.

- Gallipoli strait (Hellespont) submarine operations during WW1 (Great War) (There are some related wrecks around Turkey coasts as far as I know).

- Until 1945, Turkey was neutral in WW2. In 1945, they joined to war against Greater German Reich. Do we know whether there is any U-boat operation around Turkey coasts (Mediterranean and Black Sea)?

Thank you.

Subs throughout the time is huge.

I say that you should make some kind of index.

The development of subs from the first to the last-including technical development throughout the years.

Tactical development-in each country, throughout the years.

The integration of those Polish forces who made it to the UK.

Italian submarine operations WWII

German WWII midget submarines.

Japanese WWII submarine operations.

"Pizza night" or "halfway night" chow. :yep:

My best halfway night story was when we were bringing the Barbel back to Pearl Harbor. The cooks and the Chop had smuggled aboard a pallet of (the then new) Parmalat shelf stable milk in cartons. All they had to do was ice them down and hand them out. :o

That is a very good question. I'll certainly look into that!

The idea is to lay out a basic history of submarines from start to where we are now, and to add add-ons like Accelerators & Innovators, Famous Battles, Specific Submarines, Tales of Attack, etc.
