above left my rank Overlord and underneath in the yellow box 'Comder'

That's the Overlord banner for the member whose name is Comder. It has nothing to do with you.

so why is it on my log in?

That's normal, that is Comder's Overlord banner. It is on the top of the page like that for everyone. Just like Sithpython's banner is at the top of the overall forum page. It's always been that way, nothing has changed.

ye gods! I must have opened my eyes a bit!!! Anyway, the other 'problem' has been solved, and the buttons and links are working again. :subsim: I couldn't put that icon up yesterday :Kaleun_Salute:
