Here it goes..
Couple of screenshots. Unfortunately you have to download, or open them yourself. I wont post them directly here because of the screen resolution (3072x768).
Pictures are un-edited, lower in-game details and no AA.

Taken from "The Duel" scenario.

I love this game!

Konig leads the High Seas Fleet out on a sortie in early 1916. Grand Admiral PeriscopeDepth's "innovative" strategy of using the HSF to cripple British light forces in the Channel area is being described by most newspapers as "foolish", "risky", and more recently as "airheaded". These treasonous publications have of course been shut down, with most of the staff sentenced to years of hard labor or infantry duty on the Western Front.

Nice shots PD. Have you looked in the options and seen all that can be changed with the water? Color, animation, reflection and a bunch of others. Very cool feature of the game. My water was looking black, I now have it at a nice shade of blue. You can do the changes even when you are steaming to your destination while in game:up:

Bullethead, can you sticky this thread? I will be adding a few myself.

Wow, I did it! Had to poke around to figure out how, but it worked :).

Anyway, as you say, there are all kinds of graphics options in the game. It comes with 4 presents, which I recommend folks start with. Preset0 is the default, which makes the water too dark and the ships too bright for my tastes.

Presets 1 and 2 look a lot more like the North Sea, at least as I recall it from visiting it. The only difference between them is that Preset2 has smaller bulletholes and scorch marks, which IMHO are more realistic.

The problem with Presets 1 and 2 is that at night, they make the ocean look like a swimming pool with the light on underwater. Thus, Preset3 is the same as Preset2, but with the water lighting turned down to make it look pretty black at night.

You can, of course, tweak a bunch of settings to suit your tastes. But I recomment starting with one of the presets because it's quite possible to tweak the sliders into a horrible configuration :).

You can then save your settings under a name of your choice and load them as desired. These files are saved a .ADO files in the main \Jutland folder. Thus, you can share them with others, attach them to posts here, etc. They're very small files.

Changing all the colors and environmental aspects are just excellent. I like my blue water!

Geez, that could get ugly. The Germans are not only surrounded, but they're in a formation that prevents them from maneuvering very well....

Changing the water color, dynamics, etc while in game is a great feature. After these shots I started really playing with the options and got what I would consider very close to real water color and effects.

Destroyer Duel.

RN Destroyers are far superior to their KM counterparts for the most part, and the outcome was never really in doubt.

A close broadside.
