Solve this mod conflict please
Love Vickers better smoek mod, can see the smoke 10+miles away(as could in real life) which helps with visual tracking, esp before radar. There is a wonderful better depth charge explosions and shell splash mod as well, but they conflict, if enable the better smoke after, no longer get the wonder depth charge explosions, if enable splash mod after, no longer get the smoke. Someone with the know how fix this please? Would love to have both. Running TMO 2.5

I'm no expert, but here goes.
Looking at Vickers different smoke for TMO and splash effect DC bombs, both have a Particles dat. file in Library. Opening up smoke mod Particles I see a funnel smoke light and funnel smoke dark. DC splash only has a single funnel smoke listed. There's other differences as the smoke mod Particles file is larger. Comparing the 2 Particle dat. files and changing them to match each other should work. You would still have to add both mods because of other files not related. Hope I've shed some light on your problem. |
