Great inside look at the Russians and the men that served

Perhaps you would consider a visit to the Klingon Empire and tour a Klingon ship for us?

I have had a great time exploring the world and seeing so many different interesting places meeting many different people all with stories to tell.

Recently i have suffered two tragedies in my house hold the last one taking place last night when my old man passed away.

I can honestly say i have seen many things most will never see done many things most will never do and now it is time to slow down a bit and focus on my move to Canada, dont get me wrong i still intend to write and visit places but i would like to maybe settle down now im not getting any younger and travelling is Waring me down.

^ As you know, Kapitan, We all enjoy the careful documentations you do with great pictures, narratives and stories. Having been to Russia on a number of occasions, you may not realize it but you are an unofficial ambassador of sorts as well. I think your visits established good will on both sides of the ocean which in these times, are needed more than ever.

With your father's unfortunate passing, we will miss your excursions abroad but your family should come first, as you have said. It was fantastic that you shared your trips and pictures with us and greatly appreciated.

Once again, deepest sympathies to you and your family on the passing of your father.

I only bring up Vesikko since it is, as I said, the only remaining German Type II, so I thought it might be worth a visit. But yeah, it's only open during the summer months.

Quite good pictures of both.:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

The Vesikko I visit every time I am in Helsinki. The periscope has a "omnimeter" looking very much like the one OLC-uses in his manual targeting mod.
Worth going out to the old fortress of "Sweaborg" just to spend the day there. There is also an excellent brewery on the island:Kaleun_Cheers:.

The U3 is also a coastal submarine. Single engine with two electrical motors. Notable as I see it is the bow with the "Balkongerät" almost like the german type XXIII :03:
