If not just try reinstalling again over the top Oh and what atmosphere mod did you pick - 8km\16km light or 16km dark ? |
Some times happens similar problems if you mix visibility mod files....
|
nope, nothing else (i think) i selected 16km dark, though..:hmm:
|
visibility mod files/ Black sky
Is it possible to download those visibility mod files separately without uninstalling GW?
|
Are you using SH3 Commander also?
|
I have sh3 commander installed, but i havent used for a while (currently running sh3 from the SHIII icon on the desktop..)
Here is what it looks like::shifty: http://img489.imageshack.us/img489/811/blackskybw7.png |

Because, may be SH3 Commander has stored in its data base some file from AIL SKY Mod.... wich is uncompatible with GW files. The problem you are experienced happens to me when i attempt to blend diferent mods realated to sky, enviromental, visibility..... |
no rollback.. ill look into that, mate!! Thanx alot!!! :D:D:D

rollback
could be, but i reinstalled it "on top of it'", and it works like a charm. But i suspect that sh3 commander had something to do with it.....
Thanx alot, guys! :D |
Yep, Black sky by day is usually caused by not rolling back SH3Cmdr prior to installing the new mod.
Essentially, SH3Cmdr stores a back-up of any files that it changes. Every time you run SH3Cmdr it backs up, changes, restores, backs up, changes, restores and so on. If you break this cycle by installing a new mod in the meantime, any new files will simply be replaced by SH3Cmdr the next time it restores (ie when "Launch SH3!" is next pressed). In this case, it's the new scene.dat being replaced with your old scene.dat which causes the conflict. The easiest thing is to remember to manually rollback SH3Cmdr PRIOR to installing any new mod, done simply by opening SH3Cmdr and pressing the "Rollback SH3" button. Then you can tinker with SH3 to your heart's content. See the help file for more detail. |
