Seawolves? or Greywolves?
which supermod is your favorite? they sound so alike
|
the true poll would have been tonage war mod vs greywolfes ;-)
|
Grey wolves, without any doubt!
|
Mod made with "Copy&Paste"-method
Vs. Mod made with thousands of cups of coffee, hundreds of buckets of sweat and tears Hmm... let me think. :hmm: :-j Greywolves :yep: |
I like I.U.B  Then again i play them all

None of the above. I dont use RUB, IUB, SW, or GW.
Ive modded the crap out of my game. Ive acutaly done ALOT of modding, some of said mods fixed things before people released an "offical" fix for the same problem. I just never release anything. |

I think we should debate over which one is better and why.
|
Reminds me of voting at the polls in the US.
All I know is I want to _not_ vote for SeaWolves. But you have to vote for something... |
Hmmmm lets see, thieving scumbags Vs The modding community who share their hard work for free
OMG the dilemma  |

- because i assumed anyone can do what was done, all you needed to do was d/l the tools. (range/crush depth adjustments, crash dive time adjustments, whatever) - i posted how it was done with the tools that we have. I didnt see the need to release a file. - Mod or file incompatibilty with existing mods.. - Other ppls mods i used as a base. Made various adjustments to HT and IC for example. But they are not my works. - Made several gameplay adjustments where i balanced realism to fun, while keeping things challenging and not easy for me the player. Some of which are not historically accurate, which would only be critcized by those who demand spot on historical accuracy. For example i changed the torpedo sotrage configurations on VIIc/41 and C/42 to make them unique and worht using, or improved crash dive time on various boats by a couple seconds, or experimented with passive sonar working with decks awash, (dont recall if i got it to work right or not),etc ,etc. - Im lazy. Didnt feel like supporting a mod release with multple versions. For example if i spent more time on it, that alternate monsun boat campaign i did release (and intentionally let it die and be forgotton), could have been alot of fun, it was the start of something cool i think. But it would have consumed my all my freetime. |
The one's that doesn't cost anything and is more expansive?
*** I don't use any specific mod myself, either, since I have my own custom version of SHIII, but hey... I'm one of those few people that would subject themselves to the torture of putting together their own perfect data folder :88) That is, by all means, not to say that mods are not worth the time and effort. Just ask the average Kaleun who plays them! :) |
Realistically, this poll is a no brainer.
In other words, To pay a pirate, or not to? |
If I was not beta testing Seawolves I would not have either of the above for the same reason others have stated. I have a highly tweaked version that is like I want and it uses the fine efforts of many free modders but I then tweak many of those again to suit my idea of reality. I also threw in many ships from Seawolves.
I do enjoy Seawolves and am glad to have it as a second install but I would not give up my SH3 version for any other Don't forget to be honest and tell anyone that buys Seawolves a bounty will be placed on their head along with the Danish cartoonist. Infidels must be delt with harshly! :rotfl: Wulfmann |
:o
Greywolves Greywolves Greywolves Greywolves Greywolves :rotfl: :rotfl:  |
Hmmm, let me think.... :88)
|
Is this a trick question? :88)
