...Does this mean that sometime in the near future we will enter Scapa Flow the way it was supposed to be done? |
Oh my ...... This is going to be be unbelieveable. Can not wait for a release!

Ohh!!! You have just dug a channel...
Now you must tell how this can be done. ???? |

Sweet!! I did some preliminary research on the Kiel Canal a few months ago but I didn't get all that far with the idea. There are some good sites that you have probably already visited :hmm: that provide the width and depth of the canal in meters, etc. If I remember correctly, the canal was dredged after WW2 to enable larger draft ships to navigate the passage. Here's hoping that you can pull this minor miracle off and a wave of map tweaks will follow! Pdubya |
Bravo, fantastic!
Once it's done, if you need anyone to do some research and tweaking of the map - I'd volunteer. There's countless results to be had out of this :) |

Pdubya: The Kiel canal that I made is for testing only, sketched from a little map I found on the net, the width is approx 400 mts, I've yet to try to make it narrow, the depth is the same as in the ports 12 mts. As I told before it havent been tested all I've just navigate the first kilometers, so far the machine is still running , when I finish the tour I`ll tell you how it went. Ref |
Omg! Couple of months and we wont need the official SDK! :rotfl:

Exellent. Should be very useful tool. Now it is left to figure out how to add the Kriegsmarine grid in areas where it is absent.
