Ryerson, a work of art that also can carry ore around the Great Lakes http://www.boatnerd.com/pictures/ima...rockcut-jb.jpg |

Bismark! :arrgh!:

as far as BB's go, the Bismarck or North Carolina class are the best looking for sure. I always thought the Yamato's looked bloated and clumsy, not graceful, especially with that weird curve they have amidships.

I always liked the Iowa Class Battleships. They practically symbolized Naval Warfare of 20th Century.

HMS Victory. There are no better lines than those in the age of sail, and the British made them prettier than anyone.

Alaska CB for me....not quite a cruiser...not quite a battleship. All pretty tho.

http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.u...mshotspur2.jpg And I couldn't really post without mentioning a ship that was built in the town I live in (though you'd be hard put to tell considering our shipbuilding facilities went kaput nearly 400 years ago) http://www.hrosecure.com/firstclass/...en_Hind460.jpg And it really wouldn't be right of me to leave this post without bringing up an old favourite of mine: http://uboat.net/allies/warships/photos/br/bc_hood.jpg |
