Yea wow...fun is fun but dang that is just ignorant. We get enough of foul mouthed children playing all the on-line games to last me a life time....unless you are a foul mouthed child then it totally explains the post.

Well that letter could be real.. If your parents dont have a lot of money and you believe in Santa, you could be a little pissed after Cristmas :hmm: So you can take it as a criticism of how materialistic Cristmas has come.

Christmas isn't about getting pissed... It's about being content with what you have.

If you are poor, you should be content? Its human nature that you are pissed if dont get the same things others are getting. Especially if you are a child, you dont get the meaning of it.

While growing up, I was dang happy with my toothbrush and toy twigs...

I didn't bother to compare myself with Johnny and his high-tech Nintendo system.

Maybe it was just the way I was raised...

Probably it was. My point is that Cristmas has become too much about the gifts, when it should be about relaxing and spending time with your family. The letter presents this common materialistic attitude very well.

When you are a kid, Christmas is about the presents, period! (At least everyone I have ever known, myself included.)

As you get older though, the bigger meanings start coming into play. Sometimes it's good just to kick back with your family and enjoy yourself!

Marhkimov, you are a lucky man to have been contempt with your toothbrush and toy twigs! Damnit, I would have been very heartbroken.

All I know is, the neighbors across the street went through all lengths to make their kids happy for that one day. They even went as far as to hide all the kid's presents at our house so they could wake up in the morning to find that Santa has brought them gifts!

So let kids have their fun while it lasts. Cause when they get older, they will have to go through hell and spend all their money to make THEIR kids have the same experience! :hmm:

That's all I have to say about that.
