New IuB Commands...Or am I missing something

Just installed Ver. 1.01 and I love it...One problem though...the new commands that are present when selecting the Officer icons don't seem to work...Please advise on how to activate....TIA...CH

Did you do this over a clean install? And have you any other mods enabled? They work fine for me.

And try clicking them harder, sometimes they just don't register if you click too quickly (in my experience)

I Installed it over the previous versoin of IuB and did the main.cfg thing....I did it this way because I didn't want to lose my present career....Guess I'll just have to start over with a new Skipper....CH

Your saved games are in My Documents/SH3. If you make a backup of this folder, reinstall SH3 1.4 and then copy it back, you should be able to keep your old career.

I noticed the former periscope depth command has been replaced by Go to Bed. What does this mean?

It means you go to bed!

All the old commands are still there, they just might be under different icons.

I congratulate you on your release of new IUb and I am glad to include my mods as IUB.
However, as for IUb v101 which I downloaded, a new command was not issued.
a cause -- although it was unknown, patch was made for the time being.
It may be better to check "commands_en.cfg" & "commands_de.cfg" uploaded once.
Please use it, when a new command is problematic.

Hey, I saw a few new command icons in the MainOrders.tga, and I was wondering what exactly are the new commands that you have implemented? and most importantly, do they work?

I'm asking because I don't want to have more icons like the weather command from RUb that is half-assed (which I managed to fix, by the way ;) ).

All the new commands doesn't work for me :-? but I'm on french Keyboard, and tripartite mod (french translation) it's for this reason ?

I made a weather report fix for RUb, but I believe it is also necessary for IUB. Both mods share the same files.

To give my report, for me everything is plainly COOL !!
Thats the basic info.

Beyond that, I'm also having glitches with the new commands.
These ones don't work:

CE->GoToBed
WO->UseBinocs/UseUzo

First one is fun :yep: , the second one I have wished it a lot,
so I hope we find out why it is...

I have a spanish kbd btw... english version of plain sh3 1.4 with IUB101 only, defaults all.

Did those whom new commands do not work use this patch?
In my case, new commands became to work by this patch. :up:
I think that this patch is corrected regardless of the nationality of a keyboard.

I don't seen any trouble with weather report in IUB

Can someone confirm or discredit this???

In IUb which I downloaded, it was satisfactory about the weather report.
(What was installed is only IUb1.01 with official patch v1.4.)
There are no abnormalities of a display like the following thread.

I surmise that "lumat83" was in the state in which diving or navigator is absent. :hmm:

The problem when I play was only that new commands of all do not work.

About weather report, I haven't problems, for now, I confirm.

About the news commands. I've seen this morning that after install the patch for IUB, it is the same trouble with the all the command. No one does work for me.

Although my acquaintance also had the same problem, it was corrected by this patch.

The referenced patch is necessary if you are having any hang-ups. Thanks to the guy that posted it! I had the same problems until I installed the patch...afterwards----perfect. Now...if only someone could make the Spy mod compatible with IUB 1.01 I could declare this sim PERFECT.
