Why are the crates of Becks an Easter Egg ? Crew members in Das Boot were each given a bottle of Becks after surviving the Gibraltar incident. Sounds right that they would be kept in the captains room.

I regard it as an easter egg because it is something funny, and pretty wel hidden in the game.

I may have to look around tonight.

Every port I've been to has a sub under construction. How could you miss it?

I guess I just didn't look for it... :stare: I only look ahead, to get out of port and do my mission. :arrgh!:

Well, I've seen him in several (if not all) ports as well, but I guess he could've been like Saddam, with a bunch of lookalikes in various strategic places :P

As for other amusing animations, I've always thought the sentry in front of his guard hut looks a bit drunk... and the band looks rather second-rate too.

Also, there's a sequence where a guy gets off his motorcycle, marches a couple steps, resolutely turns right facing an officer, salutes him and returns to mount the motorcycle. He then makes exactly one attempt to start it, and dismounts again repeating the sequence.

Oh well, guess you had to be there :roll:
