Bug in DWX 1.51.7z
Just did a complete new install from 1.04 patched to DWX 1.51.7z
Game running on Win10 via DXwnd. When torpedoes are launched while playing 688i FLT III, the game crashes. It crashed when torpedo went active, also crashed a few seconds after torpedo hit target. Crashed first time as soon as torpedo launched. Previous version of DWX 1.50_3.7z worked fine. |
Added the micro fix Be 12.
Same result. Just played quick mission again, game crashed to desktop immediately when torpedo hit target! |
I reverted back to version 150_3.7z and it worked fine!
Would def. say there is an issue with 151. |
Yes I also get all kinds of crashes with 1.51
I posted one crash report at Red Rodgers. Hopefully Crazy Ivan will post a fix soon. He usually does |
I haven't got 151.7 yet, but

It was getting so frustrating, I was close to going back to 1.47. But it seems to have 'stabilised' a bit since then i.e., when I first sank a Foxtrot - it crashed, now I sink a Foxtrot, seems ok. Just my 2c :Kaleun_Cheers: Stew |

Thanks for the heads-up, Swampy!

|
Thanks for confirming all.
If you try the fix and it works please update. Thanks |

Did you by chance also post on their forum that the registration does NOT work? Have tried to register for a year now. |

|

|
It works!! Thanks Swampy
|
No problem, glad I could help :salute:
|
What are the thoughts on the patched 1.51? More stable?
|
So far it the answer is yes. It fixed most of my crashes
|
Thanks Swampy! :Kaleun_Cheers:

Have noted what I think is a bug
when assigning a track in the Perry instead of launching against the assigned track the missile (SM1) goes off and hits another random unit not assigned. Example launching SM1 against an air track at 090 while escorting a convoy the missile will fly off and go in the opposite direction 180 hitting one of the merchants, at first I thought it was just a mistake but over the last few games its actually the norm. Anyone else finding this? |
