Well I got it installed, so far so good, I like how the commands are at the bottom and not at the top.

I selected a single mission to start with but I had to exit, I need to re-read the attack instructions, I was taking damage but not firing back.

I just need to get used to it but I like it very much, you did a great job on this and lots of hard work which is very much appreciated, thank you.

GUNS FIRE:



1) Send your crew to the weapons.


2) Wait for radar contact.

3) go to UZO (radar told you bearing where to see) and lock target "L"

4) expect to be less than 18km away, look at the bearing and switch to binoculars.

5) When you have identified the target press the "space bar"

Thank you once again, I wrote it down and followed your instructions.
Came in to contact with the enemy, and she fired on them, sank one cruiser then the other one.

Graphics are good too, sound is good also, I was using the Fiume, she worked well, great job on this.

sorry, I noticed now that in ARB gui 1920*1080 i left the old instructions.

These are the new ones;

1- copy your sh3.exe and paste it in the mod in "Full Map and Chrono Patch" folder.

2- launch "FullMapAndChronoPatch.bat" to patch sh3.exe

3- copy now this patched sh3.exe and overwrite the original (make a copy first)


4- then activate the mod with jsgme.

On a side issue, I see you are in Venice, I have been there twice but it was many years ago.
The first time was a coach trip, the second I went by train from Milan.

I'm surprised nobody else has commented on this, personally I like it, I play as a ship a lot on SH4 so to do it in SH3 is great.
I hope to see more ships coming soon, you have done a marvelous job on this and you deserve a lot of credit.

Seriously, I was aware that my surface mod wasn't going to be a big hit here. but it was something I wanted to do. I anticipate that version 2.0 will also have Thor (privateer ship) and the M.A.S. (torpedo boats) 😋

is there any aspect that you don't like or that you think can be improved?

for example, how does the damage system look to you?

I've only played 3 single missions, on the first I did manage to sink the enemy but my ship was damaged, full of holes but still sailing.
After that I cheated a little I altered my armor level just to give me an edge, one ship on surface against 3 enemy heavy ships, plus I can only fire on 1 at a time.

I did notice after an enemy ship was destroyed I didn't need to go back to the UZO I could stay in the binocular and move to the next target and press the spacebar to lock on, which was good.

I mentioned the sound in my earlier post, I like the louder sound when the big guns fire their salvo, that is a nice touch.

It's because you already know where the target is.
