Say cheese!

It's a quiet day down on the farm (or at least the news desk) here in Lincolnshire:

Rgr that.

I'm with Steed and Jim on this^
If one parent did it to one kid, one time, it would be slightly amusing - once.
but that's about it.

In Chatham they'd probably throw the cheese board (if they used cheese boards, which they don't)

Is this a cheese board? I just use paper plates ... how low class is that?

Cheese Board Making 101 (a.k.a. How to make a cheese board in 10 minutes or less OR How to make a cheese board without breaking the bank) is simpler than you might think. When it comes to making cheese boards, the possibilities are truly endless. Whether I’m pulling together a late night snack, an easy lunch, or appetizers for 20 people, cheese boards are my choice for every occasion.

Cheese boards can also be made from slate or marble... these are easier to clean than the wooden kind, as well as being less liable to cling on to any strong smells from other foods, like spring onions or garlic

Reece 03-06-19 06:43 PM

What a cheesy topic!! :yep:

Eichhörnchen 03-06-19 07:03 PM

We'll do cake next

Mork_417 03-06-19 07:26 PM

One of my favourites.

Two cheese recommendations:

These two cheeses are both available at ALDI Stores. We always have these two cheeses in the cheese box in our fridge. The Red Fox is a very creamy cheese

https://i.imgur.com/tKTjqeI.jpg 'Emporium' mature cheddar cheese

(Available at all good cheese shops)

Mr Quatro 03-07-19 10:58 AM

Did you know that Cheddar cheese is really just white cheese with food coloring added to make it look yellow?

I'm sure you did ... just checking :D

Eichhörnchen 03-07-19 12:35 PM

I know everything about cheese

I don't know why, but seeing the above post put me in mind of possibly Literature's greatest fictional lover of cheese: Ben Gunn from R L Stevenson's Treasure Island. Aktung's daughter... who is the Director of a museum dedicated to this author... may have more photos of STEED
