Dirty scope glass help
 

Hey guys I need some help or a push in the right direction. Inthe image below, is a picture of radcapricorn's monocular mod. I love this mod because the lens is dirty and looks like it has been used for awhile at sea. I want to use this lens for all my scopes on the boat.

Along with this mod, I use emtgulfs reworked periscope mod as well. I dont want to lose this mod, I just want the lens to look dirty. Can someone help me with this? Any one here with experience with this?

i don't have permission to upload that periscope mask..that one was made for me personal by gap or naights long time ago...

btw your periscope mask is way oblate m8 something is wrong there

You mean it's oblong? I know I wanted the cats eye for the binocular look.

I took radcapricorns bino, and torpedo's bino.ini and mixed them. Do you know how to straighten it out?

undo all changes :D or copy the default bino.ini from twos :D

yea i have that one but is for MagUI by DrJones and will not work with TWoS...if u need only the .dds file i can upload it for u :D

I have read your PM. As long as you don't sell my stuff, you, Sjizzle, or any other subsim mate should feel free to use and redistribute anything I create/modify mor SH. :03:

That said, Sjizzle is correct in stating that the dirty periscope masks I made for him might require some work before they can be used with TWoS. IIRC, I had saved psd versions of them with separate layers in an hard disc (with Gigabytes of old SH mods, modding resources, digital books, and unreleased stuff stored in it) that recently had a malfunctioning :-?

The broken hard disc is currently undergoing data recovery, the friend who is taking care of it said that 89% of its surface is still intact, so hopefully I won't have lost too much information, and the layered masks will be among the recovered files. Using them, should be easy for me to do the dirty masks compatible with TWoS.

here we go they are TDW's UI Compatible only... they are not TWoS compatible because TWoS use large optics !!!!

Hey friends, just did some tests in historical missions. it works great so far. no problems, and it looks great. Thanks, I will let you know how the campaign goes.

Ok so the lens does not have tick marks which is fine. I have to do some more testing. The RAOBF appears in the correct position. As long as the RAOBF solutions match up we are good. This is a great mod! Why hold out?

This leaves me with one final mission...
Dirty UZO! I have dirty Bino, Obs, Attack! I want the UZO if you guys can help me out I would appreciate it.

As I said before, the failure of one of my external hard discs where I had stored the biggest part of my SH modding archive, is a little catastrophe. I hope to recover most if not all of its content. Once I put my hands back on my working files, I will likely be in a better position for helping you with the last missing mask :salute:
