Especially with your last winter's pics! I just watch Fargo to remind myself why I live in drought stricken CA on a fault line...:k_confused:with really bad fires just up-the-way. Upside: they sell Hamm's at the local supermarket!:O:

Looking good buddy but honestly, you're welcome to it :)

Rhodes 11-02-15 12:53 PM

No snow here, only 2 times in 25 years! :wah:
A lot of rain, humidity and cold (some times). The upside, I can see the sea from my window and how high are the waves!

I really hope that we don't have a repeat of that.

Those were gruesome shots! Right now the power's just come back on. We've had hail; thunder and torrents of rain. All useful, but the burned out Valley Fire folk have got no ground cover, so slides are an issue.

Wolferz 11-03-15 08:14 AM

Saw the report on the storm out there this morning, Aktung. Steer clear of those burned hill sides and stay safe.
El Nino is shaping up to be a bad little baby this year.

Ugh, not ready to worry about about driving in winter and snow again. :wah:

Still waiting for Autumn, it's near on 70f here! :/\\!!

About a week ago we had 3/4" of snow. It didn't stay long, the ground is not frozen.
I haven't put the snow blower on yet, I still have some loader work to do, which will get done now that I am on holidays.

Shouldn't be too long now http://i.imgur.com/e9qTcwW.gif

Now everybody sing to the tune of White Christmas....I'm dreaming of a green Christmas.

Tax dollars at work. NOAA's National Weather Service winter weather forecast says it could be a little warmer or, it could be colder in the Wakfield Area.

Right now its warmer and rain today. Thanks El Nino.

I'm still cutting grass.

swamprat69er 11-06-15 07:58 AM

I would but my lawnmower broke. I also live in the boonies/sticks and nobody cares how long my grass gets.
NOTE: I said l o n g, not high. I have never grown that 'other' stuff.

The winter time nightmare has begun.....Hydro went out this morning at 9:15 A.M. and just came back on a few minutes ago. I sure am glad I have a small gen set to look after the sump pump and a light or two as well as the electric wok.

Still Summer here! :/\\!!

Betonov 11-07-15 06:57 AM

I'm gardening in my t-shirt and jeans. Balmy 17°C and sunny.
And this is the Alps, we're supposed to get first snow at this time of the year.
