Where is Dowly?

After posting about Alien: Isolation, I actually expected a certain ferret bursting into the room, drooling all over the place.

But:

Oops?
Anyone know more about his disappearance? :hmmm:

Betonov 01-13-14 01:24 PM

Should we start an MIA thread?
Dowly, Donna, She-Wolf, Wernher

Nippelspanner 01-13-14 02:14 PM

We already have such a thread, I was looking for it but unable to find it though.

Not in my basement

Oberon 01-13-14 02:31 PM

He's gone, same as Hunter and Takeda. Doubt he'll be back.

Not a thing. People come and people go.

GoldenRivet 01-13-14 02:57 PM

You mean we are free to leave whenever???

mapuc 01-13-14 03:08 PM

As Neal wrote people come and people go, we can only hope that nothing have happen to him.

Donna posted less than a week ago. Hardly MIA.

Neal's last comment there contains words of wisdom.

I signed into Steam over the weekend. I don't usually sign into Steam much but I wanted to purchase Outlast. Anyway, Teemu sent me a message in Steam not long ago. We therefore can surmise he is alive and well.

My guess is
- usual GT edicate, hijackings, derailments, etc got old.
- usual political debates got old.
- perceived shift in political balance on the forum in relation to the usual debates.

That's just my guess. I really don't know. I do know that Politics gets thrown around A LOT, and it's more often then not, very passionate to put it kindly. I don't claim exemption.

Stealhead 01-13-14 05:06 PM

I see him on my Steam friends list he is usually active a few times a day including today.Must be taking a break like Neal said in the other thread.

Red October1984 01-13-14 05:55 PM

He told me the story and why he left. Out of respect I am not going to repeat it. And for the fact that if he wanted everybody to know, he would've told them I guess.

Dowly has been a good friend to me. I'd like to keep it that way.
