That's a clip from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns (which features a badass Batman :up: and a government stooge Superman :down:), and apparently MoS2/BvS is going to be based on it. I mean, if you're going to do a movie like this, get Christian Bale! The guy's Bruce Wayne is a thick millionaire, but his Batman (Wayne is a mask, Batman is the real person) is a tortured soul who kicks ass. BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE! Or, if you're going for an older Batman, go with Kevin Conroy!

EDIT 2: What this movie needs to succeed is to dump Affleck, and to make the villains Lex Luthor and the Joker. Also, they HAVE to put Harley Quinn in. She's one of the most interesting characters: a psychologist seduced and abused by the Joker.

Honestly, I'm happy to see someone else than Bale play Batman.

I'll stay at home and pull out my old "watching paint dry" commericials.

there is no Batman after Nolan's trilogy.

And I completely dislike the idea to merge heroes from different stories just for a spike at the cashdesk. Or take Star Trek Generations. Kirk and Piccard. Merged and squeezed into one plot, no matter the absurdity. Worst ST movie since the very first one.

Yes, but comics are diffrent! Is normal for Heroes of the same universe to have stories together,not to mention the groups and leagues. Superman/Batman was always and still is something big for DC and the two coin sides of that universe.
Marvel studios show the way and that was possible to do it right. And ideas/scripts of a Supes/Batsy movie were around form the mid 90's or early 2000s.

I've been waiting for this. AJ has been pretty cautious about a new Batman in the wake of Christian Bale. Looks like all of his concerns have just been realized.
