Unhappy Ninja

So my wife has a coke bottle that explodes near my step-son whilst using my laptop, which was later shut down by my daughter. The laptop no longer turns on...sigh. Who do I blame?

Hopefully it can be fixed without major dramas

Sue Coke for a Jagillion dollars and buy another laptop. That's the American way. :D

Where there's a blame, there's a claim

Case clear. Don't let women touch your computer, cause this is how it always ends.

Addendum:
Seriously, I am no sexist or so but... Women belong into the kitchen... :arrgh!:

When it comes to hiring women, I think the decision should be mostly based on the woman's T and A

Talent and ability.

Update:

Laptop appeared to be pretty dead. I could have had it sent away for £50 for checks only to risk having confirmation that yes it is indeed dead. The power cable was working fine (registering a current) and my hard drive was saved onto an external drive in PCWorld so no upset there.

I've had the laptop for nearly five years and didn't game on it, only filing work, internet surfing, ITunes etc so no biggie (and it had Vista ).

Ended up buying a new laptop for just over £300 with Windows 8 and i3 processor.

Oh well that's life, I guess

That's just silly, the kitchen is where you stow all the empty Amazon and Newegg boxes. I built my computer in the living room.

Of course it is, but not yours. She's expecting delivery any minute. :sunny:

I've met some pretty tough women during the course of my career as a LEO. Some colleagues, some citizens and some arrestees.

The problem is that this is more a performance, and while it does take a whole lot of skill, it does not necessarily represent a person who can defend themselves. Katas are great practice, but rarely does a kata survive first contact in a real fight. Our instructor used to take great pleasure in demonstrating that (ouch) :)

Have you ever had an altercation with one? I have, and have responded to calls where women have bloodied their male counterparts to the point where I initially thought the guy was beaten by another male. I didn't say every woman was alike, but I have met some tough ones who knew nothing about any Kata and still cleaned a man's clock. One guy needed stitches above his brow, had a closed eye and a broken nose after he showed up late for a wedding reception. It was his gown clad fiance who handed him his head as soon as he stepped out of the limo.
Another 18 year old girl wrestled with me and my 6'2" (210 pound) partner for over 5 minutes before we were finally able to cuff her.

I've had to wrestle cuffs on some pretty tough cookies. Some were drunk, some high on drugs and some psych-patients. That's not to say that some weren't easy. :03:
