Songs for the Apocalypse...

Since today may be the our last day on earth, I thought it would be nice to post a link to a song to commemorate the occasion:

If this is the end, well, many thanks for the good memories. If not, I still have a list know those out there who still owe me money... :)

Feel free to post your own song suggestions...

When I was 15 I and many Finns went through the Confirmation School (if they wanted to),
during the last night, they read about the Bible's versin of end of the world and
in the background they played Era's Ameno, so here goes:

One with, one without, either way it's a great song to go out on.

Why forget the obvious classics; the Requiems?

W. A. Mozart, K626 (orchestrations after mvmt I are by Franz Xavier Suessmayr, as Mozart had passed before their completion)

Verdi Requiem (with Luciano Pavoratti in his prime)

Berlioz Grande Messe des Morts (Litterally "The Big Mass of Death" performed by the LSO)

Suiting that thread perfectly, even though it's not quite music.
At least it shows that everywhere, some people can jump to plausible conclusions, while ethical barriers are so pervasive I bet not 10% of the population of the united states of America just dared to think that murder could be no less than a revenge from this totalitarian state I won't name here. :hmm2:

Takeda Shingen 12-20-12 11:55 PM

That's enough of that. Back to the thread.
