My 10 years of subsim!
 

So I turned up 40 recently and with it came my 10th anniversary as subsim.com member, hence I am somehow sentimental now :D

I would never have thought that a web could endure so much, and also still be so strong and growing up ...

I would never have thought that I would now have two beautiful kids and my marriage is going on strong ...

I would never have thought that ... well, so much more ...

But I thank God for this, it's been a great time here and it's really become a reference in my life to be part of this community. So thank you Subsim, and thank you all for being here, sharing our hobby with passion and friendship :rock:

Pretty cool, Alberto. I'm right behind you. My 10th will be in November, but I'll probably hold off starting a thread until the anniversary of my first post, which will be late in December.

Dear God, it's my ten years this year too! Well, technically it's eleven since I lurked the board for about half a year to a year before I actually joined up.

Cheers guys, 2002 was the year when SH2 hit the shelves and many people started pouring here searching for fixes to its bugs ... and many of us have stayed. I guess we will celebrate lots of 10th anniversaries this year :woot:

Remember the drama after SH2 was released. Oh dear lord.

Me as well. I then discovered SH3. Lurked about. Joined. Dumped SH2 for SH3. Learned a plethora of information on working with game files, mods, installing mods and wealth of other information concerning computers. Not to mention a wealth of info concerning what happens and who is affected around the world with current events. Truly a international community. :up:
