That was a fun day had my chair with golf clubs { I should of had an empty bag out there the man has no game} along the maindrag going to the spacecenter here on Merritt Island Fla, I must thank the democrat party for making this all possible. Remember the DNC opens in the morning, I'm on pins and needles, if they pray or no pray or it's going to be a color me liberal fun fest, I hear there will be alot of empty chairs, I guess they are going to play where's waldo obama.

It's a little known fact that Obama helped end the American civil war, look you can see him to the right of General Lee.

He was also present at the signing of the Treaty of Versailles in 1919

And at the signing of the Treaty of Paris:

He also spent time with the young Theodore Roosevelt:

Hung out with Winnie and FDR:

Fortunately for all of us, he still has time to help Captain Kirk keep peace for Earth and the Federation:

He even took the time to visit me. He brought his wife and Mr. Eastwood with him! I always sit in my computer chair, so I had plenty of room for them all.

Foolish old men who do not know when it is time to retreat and shut up. In Germany Peter Scholl-Latour and Helmut Schmidt whom I both held in high esteem for long time, but today just find ridiculous, and in America currently Clint Eastwood. He did not make himself a favour with that hilarious mumble stunt.

Old men like these just wear out like old shoes and do not realise when their brain desintegrates. You see it and are disgusted by the sight. But they themselves still consider themselves to be absolutely indispensible.

We all become old and wear out. The trick is to know when to retreat behind the stage curtain - AND STAY THERE.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the state of American politics. :nope:

Betonov 09-04-12 06:33 AM

Here's a small overview of politics inspired by a picture I posted in the funnies thread.

With all the political bickerign in GT the last few days, I just wanted to show you with this simple slideshow, that anyway you look at it, you're screwed like a helicopter.

Mr B, you obviously have no grasp of American politics. Let me 'splain it to you.

My Guy is not the best choice available, but he's the best we could come up with on a moment's notice, or with a year of diligent searching. If My Guy is elected he will accomplish little if anything at all, but at least he will keep the Hoards Of Evil at bay, or maybe just make me feel good that My Side won this time.

Their Guy is the devil incarnate. If he is (re) elected he will drive the country into economic and moral ruin and cause the death of everything We hold dear. He doesn't understand what The Founders meant and hates The Constitution.

A fine example of modern political rhetoric:

Forgive me for being an ignorant foreigner, Mr. S., but shouldn't you have added somewhere in there: "By the way, I'm an open minded, fair and balanced independent and think both parties are full of crooks"?
