And your thread duplicates threads already done for all those folks, some of them also long ago.

Takeda Shingen 06-18-12 07:41 AM

Happy birthday, Steve.

Sailor Steve 06-18-12 07:43 AM

Thanks. It was, kinda sorta.
:rotfl2:

Oberon 06-18-12 07:44 AM

Happy Birthday to you too Tak! :woot:

Takeda Shingen 06-18-12 07:47 AM

And a happy birthday to you too, Oberon! In fact, I hereby proclaim June 18th birthday-day. That title is not clumsy at all.

My favorite quotation from Star Wars

Who is the bigger jerk? The jerk, or the jerk who follows him?

looks like we have a member trying to raise his post-count by necrophiling bday threads...

that being said:

Happy Birthday Pål Pot Pamparius, founder of Pamparius Pizza in the 6000 member village of Kolbotn, Norway and a member of the lovely band Turbonegro. :salute:

This shadows the birthday of this unknown, wannabe musician who goes by the name of Paul Mc Cartney who becomes 70 today. :smug:
The Beatles are overrated anyway.

Rhodes 06-18-12 08:10 AM

Indeed! Happy birthday to us all! :woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:

Concentrating all happy birthdays in one day for one thread only! :D

Jimbuna 06-18-12 08:15 AM

Looks like :)

Yep. He's got way more downloads than posts, which may be why he's stooping to talk to us at all.

I'm quite certain that's not allowed :shifty:

And for the record, The Beatles are good but individually they, as do most post-band solo artists*, suck! Whilst we're on birthdays, I've just sneaked a peak at the wikipedia birthday list and there is only one that jumped out at me - Paul Eddington, the wonderful Jim Hacker in Yes, Minister and the sequel series, Yes, Prime Minister. Fantastic shows most faithful to the books. :yeah:

*And I include duets and-the-like here.

the_tyrant 06-18-12 08:55 AM

happy unbirthdays to everyone!:woot:
(except vegaskip , happy birthday)

The line is drawn when it's obvious what words were meant even if they weren't used. What I meant was exactly nothing, other than to pretend to be angry.

Just an opinion, and I both agree and disagree. 'Imagine' sucks? I think most of McCartney's and Harrison's stuff was good, just not the same.

Penguin 06-18-12 10:34 AM

:D
I also get crap from friends who are musicians for my contempt for the Pilzköpfe.
There was so much more better music during their era. The Kinks, MC5, The Who, Hendrix, The Stooges.
Not forgetting the countless little Garage Rock bands who often only had local fame, benignly conserved for kids like me by labels as Norton or Crypt.

On the 8th day the Lord said: Let there be Rock! (not wimpy Beat :03:)

a golf ball through a garden hose :O:

For my ear the equivalent of listening to fingernails on a blackboard, while having a pack full of horny cats in your living room making sounds, while at the same time a glowing blade cuts through my guts.
no, not really my song. :hmm2:

A subforum where we can have all birthdays wishes. I have had that idea for awhile. Instead of many threads in GT we make a birthday wishes in it's own subforum.
