Hi,

I'm a new member here. I bought Silent Hunter 4 with Uboat addon few days ago. I chose the SH4 version because its good reputation.

Then I realize that it is changeable through various MODs. Now I'm very satisfied with this game.

It took a while to get familiarize with the JSGME and many mod options, but actually it was quite straight forward.

What is the current hot topic in this SH4 game world now?

Out from retirement.
 
Last played in 2008 and was looking to see if SH3 would run under Windows 7. Got sucked back in and bought SH5 instead. Now that it's patched I'm hoping to add a few mods and see how it measures up

I see my join date is 2006 and I never got around to posting :) I've had SH5 for a while, never really enjoyed it, then I downloaded the DarkWraith's mod the other day and I have been enjoying it immensely. Thanks for having such a great resource!

I guess I best post. I have Silent hunter 3,4 and 5 but I started out on the gold old silent hunter 2! I'm a big fan of both U-boats and Subs over all! I adore these games and subsim over all!
Though I must admit... I'm not enjoying this new download limit at all...
