/FLASH// US Forces fire on Iranian small boat
Quote:
http://www.arabtimesonline.com/NewsD...6/Default.aspx I'm assuming the "Prohibited Area" was near ABOT/KAOT and the Iranian "Finger". http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/787/23233232f.jpg |

The fact that they appear to be cleaning up Parchin site implies that they are going to "play along" and allow someone to come and look at sites to falsely imply that they have no nuclear weapons program.Somewhat like what Saddam did in the 90s(of course he really did not have much of anything).Seems like Iran might try to play a similar game only they will have something they just wont allow inspectors to any truly active site.
I often wonder if Iran might have interest in chemical and biological weapons those type programs are much easier to hide and can be equally deadly. The incident with the Iranian boat we'll have to see I doubt it will make things come to a head alone. |
So when the Iranians find British naval forces in the disputed zone, they capture them, hold them and then release them after negotiations.
When the US finds Iranian naval forces in the disputed zone they open fire. The Shatt al Arab area has been disputed since before the first Gulf War. |

Why am I not seeing this news item in the mainstream press?
And "spy base"? That sounds like hyperbole. |

http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/1263/spymap.gif I guess "Iranian SIGINT and IRGCN base" wouldn't fit on the graphic. But it is used to eavesdrop and observe Coalition ships in the NAG. I can't say more. |

Why not just have a land based SIGINT base? Iran could easily have one along the coast that is well with in snooping range.
I think it would take a lot more to really make Iran react military we did not go to war back 88 when that US Navy ship mistook that Iranian airliner as a threat and shot it down. That cost us 61.8 million. |
Just what I want to read before going to bed, and wake to WW3, just drag lined a pond behind our complex, tastey gators in the pond, gun shop up front, ammo reloader in the middle and ham radio shack in the rear, and you know it's all about location, location. sleep well America. this radio free yubba signing off.

That is an extremely questionable source it is old as well.
No one is waking up to WWIII in the morning. |

World War II was quite enough thanks very much.
I wonder if in 60 years our grand-kids will be sitting playing WW3 combat simulators? trying to immerse themselves in the reality of it all? Or will they be trying to figure out how to build shelter and find something edible in the nuclear wasteland that we leave them. Humans are so damned stupid. |
