Hostile Cube Shaped Spacecraft Spotted!!!

Ooops not the Borg just Iran...

^I'm guessing that's a 35mm camera someone had laying around...

The new Iranian satellite weighs about 110 pounds (50 kilograms) and was built by students at the Sharif University of Technology
Telstar 1 sounds more advanced...

Iranian Space Agency officials have said in the past that they are aiming to launch a human into space by 2020 and land an astronaut on the moon by 2025.
:haha:

It was first spotted by the crew of another satellite.

Please tell me that's a mock up and not the real thing sitting in a conference room next to a fiber spewing flag directly under the overhead air vents...

Have these jokers never heard of a clean room?

Fiber is a good thing. Don't want the satellite to get plugged up or anything.

(if they only gave up all the crap and focused science)

Few questions:

1. Is there unfilled jobs in Comedy Channel? I think we have found potential candidate for the job.

2. Why Iran needs five ground stations to control their satellite?

and last but not leaast...

3. Isn't human in space in 2020 and lunar landing in 2025 be a bit ambitious plan?

u crank 02-03-12 03:58 PM

YES, I KNOW, THE MOON IS THAT WAY.

We landed a man on the moon in 12 years from the 1st satellite... of course we had Nazis.

Perhaps the cube is from the Iranian nuclear facility?

I bet Trane is ticked off it looks just like an early 90's condenser unit they where some of the first high efficiency systems maybe Iran figured that meant in space.

Clean rooms only matter if you care about not infecting other planets with earth life...

They do matter for Earth orbiting spacecraft too. You don't want a piece of metal finding its way in to the electronics or dust or debris getting in to the camera lens or even oil from fingerprints on the solar panels.

Alot of our UFO sighting in the 50s-60s was our government fiddling around with German Tech. Notice alot of the happened in our southwestern deserts?

Always a rational answer for everything.

If there was aliens capible of unrealistic speed and stealth, then they would have conquered us by now.
Not tease us for 60 + years. Which happens to be how long we been messing with jet engines.

I found a tinfoil hat website for you. PM me if you want it, be warned they ban you for speaking logic there (or mentioning Tavistock, and other goodies I can give you to troll them). Although they do believe this crap has something to do with Niburu, and the Mayan calandar.

Aliens, you have a better chance proving to me that the US congress has Americas best interest in mind.:D

Don't tell me this place is going the way of the loonies.

Don't misunderestimate them Persians, son -- that there "air conditioner" is the spaceborne equivalent of a Q Ship! Yep, that's a hunter-killer satellite cunningly disguised as a "student project"!!

If one of our spy satellites comes in for a peek, them solar panels flip open, and BLAMMO! Just wait, we're going toe to toe with the Persians, in outer space!

Alan Shepard's sub-orbital flight was just 3 years after Explorer-1, the U.S.' first sattelite. It could be done.

A manned lunar landing by 2025 is ambitious, and prohibitively expensive I think, as Red October pointed out. However, an unmanned lunar landing is certainly within reach.
