EGADS MAN :o, lucky nobody's head was sucked up into the intake. I'd say that pilot was definitely having one of those zen, "all is one, and one is all" moments.

Yeah, those pilots were extremely valiant and skilled...which is more than can be said for the ground troops in the main.

Absolutely agree.

This idiot was flying very low over both grass and concrete. Any thermal differential crossing those areas and he could have buried it.

3 feet is not a good margin of error, especially when it involves maintaining terrain separation.

There are old pilots and there are bold pilots. And then there are irresponsible pilots like this. :nope:
