To Bail or Not to Bail Greece Out (merged)
Our nutty government is considering bailing Greece out when we are broke. I say let them swirl in their own red ink, and it will educate all these fiscal boneheads, what's about too happen. Socialism is a greek tragedy, it's great until you run out of other peoples money.

Why, yes we can bail you out, let me find my crayon and I'll write you a check.

No, hate here just a lot of dissappointment, loss of faith, dissatisfaction and disbelief in this government. Get back with me when your belly button is rubbing your backbone and then you can tell me how great this government is. Sounds tastey think I'll go out and look for some road kill.

The fact that Greece has ended up there today, partly due to purely fiscal reasons, thus the government has let people go in retired between 50-55 years of age, and thus lost so many thousands of billions in unpaid taxes,....a stupid act....Greece's main income has been tourism, so go there now, before they go bankrupt.

Greece: General strike begins as MPs debate austerity
Greek police have thwarted efforts by striking workers to encircle parliament and block access for MPs due to debate new austerity measures.
Thousands of demonstrators have gathered in Syntagma Square in Athens. Prime Minister George Papandreou is trying to push through fresh policies as part of the conditions for the EU and IMF's bail-out package. Ports, public transport and banks are badly disrupted as the main public- and private-sector unions go out on strike. State-run companies have also joined the walkout, while hospitals are only offering emergency care. However, airports are operating normally after air traffic controllers called off their strike. It is the third general strike in Greece this year. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13773148 Note: 15 June 2011 Last updated at 09:40 GMT |
Yeah....that's exactly what the Greeks need to resolve their financial plight...a general strike
|
.... and the last word has not said yet, another strike, will not solve anything..
