Its in the dictionary of incontravertabubble gibberish, It is defined there as not sustainable substances. Either that or a sub that can't be stained. Either way works.:know::D

Break the word down, just like they learned you in school

- Sub - Submarine

- Stainable means the ability to be or the condition vulnerable to be stained

- Un means not

Unsubstainable - A submarine that never gets dirty on the outside.

Sheesh do I have to explain everything?

:D

ps Damn you Tarjack, once again your post-fu was faster than mine

NeonSamurai 04-23-11 09:52 AM

That or un applies to sub, meaning its an un submarine (or non submersable) that is stainable

Ah a nuance I did not consider.

This topic is more complex than first imagined.

So that would mean any conventional ship:hmmm:

frau kaleun 04-23-11 12:34 PM

On the contrary, I believe it refers to a substance that is unable to make a stain on a sub.

"I can't use this dye to camouflage the decks, Herr Kaleun - it's unsubstainable!"

Of course in German it would be different, most notably several thousand syllables longer.

At least they maintain a spotless record...

All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map :know:

Or just choose the much quicker option: do a google search for a word that has the umlaut-ed letter you want in it, and then copy and paste. :O:
