That was a help in identifying him thanks but sadly I still can't get hold of his number.

I wish :DL

I ordered a rare diecast aircraft model and paid the asking price but received a variant that is easily found just about anywhere at half the rarer models price :stare:

send them an email

Robert Luke Shillings is, I do believe a 29 year old man from Lincoln, so whether it's his business or he does it on behalf of someone else, I'm not sure.
The address points to a bungalow in Lincoln, so if I had to join the dots I'd wager that he did it on behalf of his father. Now, in the cul-de-sac behind them is 'Lincoln Signs and Services', and their number I will PM to you, perhaps you might want to try and ring them as a 'wrong number' and see if they can give you the number to Modelseeker. It's a shot in the dark, but it's in the vague direction of the target and might just connect.

Update:

Off to the bank to find out if my credit card can be fully reimbursed....need to know what level/amount of financial loss I might be facing before I can assess the level of my response/actions.

Doing a chargeback on your credit card should be simple enough. They misrepresented what you were buying and have made no attempt to rectify the situation. Sounds pretty clear cut.
