Must See: Nazi Robot Spider
These filmmakers have some talent, and the use of scale models = fantastic!

kinda neat

That armo(u)r is too thick for blasters, switch to cables.
The allies fight back... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhpS6...eature=related |
A jeep with harpoon and tow cables might be able to do some real damage there.

Well, in any case, TLAM is right about these guys' talent. That's some pretty nice filmwork for having a budget of.....very little. And they even managed to match the realism level of Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbor! And they did this without stooping to hiring trained actors that suck! I'm quite impressed, and I mean that. |
I thought it more martian machine in the classic sense.
Anyway, the German commander stands before this large open port on the front, and the combined might of an allied offensive battle front can't hit it! Nice film though. |
Nazi zombies... Now, it's Nazi spiders! :haha:
The only thing that'll work on it is a crop duster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4aqM_wu6Ns |
Nice job though some of the explosion FX were a bit dull.
I don't understand why a big tank on legs would be better than a big tank on tracks, other than the height difference.:hmmm: |
At the end "Okay, thats our que to go"
Nice to see not all US troops are gung-ho heroes. |
Very nicely done, and like Smurf said, realistic withdrawal rather than gung-ho fight to the death. I could see the airforce taking it down easily enough though....get some Brits in with some Typhoons!

You know, That German Spider-Tank Commander sat the entire battle in this observation area with rather big open window. Wouldn't it occur to the Allied troops to I dunno.... aim at that hole.:hmmm:
Anyways. Spider Tank, Spider Tank, does whatever a spider tank does. |

Now you guys finally know why we won the war.:smug:
|
I hereby motion that we re-name the Nazi-robot-spider "Mechapanzer" because it sounds cooler and will help us capture the Japanese robophile demographic. Also, Nazi-robot-spider is akward to use in conversation.

LOL :haha: If the roles had been reversed in the movie and that had been an American spider-robot, it would have burst into flames and exploded. :O: |

Actually the USAAF was already in existence in 1944. United States Army Air Force was part of the 1942 division of the US Army by presidential order: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_...rmy_Air_Forces |
