All my cars have a sophisticated crash avoidence system.
Its called LTHWYG or Look The Hell Where Your Going. I often think little safety features like this are counterproductive in the long run. Leading one to a false sense of confidence. |

The first time you might realise is when you hit someone or something. Far better to rely on ones own avoidance skills. |
My question on this thing is "What happens if it works too well?"
You're in traffic at 30 mph, you get a little to close to the car in front of you (which you shouldn't do, but still...) and suddenly your brakes lock up. And there's a car right behind you which doesn't have this 'feature'... |

Oh I see what you mean, Chief. And Volvo is only the first one...
For some time now, my bloody f*cken greatest pride, my country and its flag, got sold out to the united states ; our most well-known companies got taken over by the *insert unpleasant adjective here* united states. And I must say it's QUITE a shock to see the random guy going back home with that poisoned american stuff called Harry's bread in his hands instead of the usual "French stick", as foreign people call it. And that happens in our ******* OWN COUNTRY. Now that the MASSIVE yellow peril enters the fight ? It's time for american economists (and basically everybody else) to know how WE feel in here since the late 80's. |

Pedestrians should be safe enough...provided they're wearing their radar reflectors correctly :DL

Not unusual for these kinds of tests go wrong, human factors or equipment as such, there are a number of one hundred per 24 hours
