The only song that gives me goosebumps just by listening to it.
Close your eyes for maximum effect.

Sinnead O'Connor WHAT A TALENT.:yeah:

Thought I'd share this sentiment on this particular song with this particular arrangement!

bah, if only she could have ditched the skinhead - never did her any favours imo, then again, she is as mad as a bag of loons.

If you like that, check out Enya.

IknowIknowIknow, Enya is famous (beside U2 the most sold Irish musician ever), but I do not know if she also is known in Indonesia, so I mention her.

sometimes the face, the voice, the soul serve, in a unique way, the only god: the SONG.

Long before I heard of Enya I was already a fan of her older sister and two of her brothers, and two of her uncles - the band known as Clannad. She sang with them on a couple of songs.

Yes. Soundtrack for Robin of Sherwood. Best Robin Hood adaptation I know. I'm proud owner of all three DVD sets. Enya I know since her first solo album. The music is timeless.

Though female symphonic metal vocalists are generally of extremely high quality:) (Simone Simons, Floor Jansen, etc.)

Yikes, Clannad! My primary school teacher played Clannad at top volume while he did paperwork and we made a start on projects or homework. We could go home once we got a certain amount done. Straight-A student, me. Fast worker too :O:

Enya? Allow me to quote my favourite stand-up comic, Dylan Moran

This stage, if it hasn't already, probably will see a production of the Vagina Monologues. Which I cannot wait to see, because it sounds so fabulously ****ing stupid. Everybody knows that if female genitalia could speak, it would sound exactly like Enya.

That's how I discovered Clannad as well. RoS was shown on a public channel here, and at the time I described the music to a friend as "As green as the forest they filmed it in."

I now have pretty much all their albums. I prefer the earlier traditional-music-with-the-ocassional-electric-guitar-thrown-in to the more recent New-Age stuff.

As for Robin, I have the entire series on videotape. Unfortunately only the first series, with Michael Praed, is available on DVD here. And I also agree that it's the best version ever.

http://www.amazon.com/Robin-Sherwood...169380&sr=8-15

Only the swcond half of third season.

However, the german box also contains the English original tone, and it is complete:

http://www.amazon.de/Robin-Hood-Die-...168887&sr=8-14

This box from English Amazon seems to include the complete three seasons of the series, it is a german box, but again with English original sound (only the box print is german, as i undersatand it).

http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-revi...#RGRD560J2YELJ

But check that you DVd player can handle zone 2 DVDs and PAL.

At least in Europe, ordering internationally at different Amazons is no problem. I occasionally do that in Britain, when prices are cheaper there (tin box of Blade Runner costed me less than half the german price, including shipping). I have recently ordered a sim via Ebay in the US, and it took just 12 days (and taxes...). eSim manages to deliver new Steel Beasts-CDs from California in 8 days or less to my German place. Always standard airmail, no express option.
