Looking For "Alarm" Mod For SH3

Hi. I'm looking for a easy to download/install mod where you hear alarm bells and crew member yelling ALARM!!!. I'm not crazy about zip files.:)

Jimbuna 08-13-10 04:10 PM

What you are looking for is the 'ChE_K_Crash_dive audio file which can be found in the Data\Sound\Speech files of GWX3.0.

Don't forget to put it into each of the 9 speech folder.

Someone here may have a JSGME version you can use.

Dale1957 08-13-10 06:01 PM

thank you sir.

:damn:must be getting old!. I can't find it. would rather have a auto install version if possible.

Auto-install using JSGME? That would be easy enough, it's just a matter of creating a custom mod with the right folder structure in order to put that one file in your game.

At any rate I can email you the sound file if you PM me with an email addy.

I uploaded one up for you its one of my wip files but has what you want!

you would have to delete what you dont want from the speech folders

they include "no javol* and no radio msg recieved just the morse code various others I dont remember...

Click on the sig should be there...badger tweak its JGSME ready...just change the folder name to your taste.

You can also get all of that with the Das Boot Sound Mod. "Alarms", no "Jawhol", and all the rest. And it's JSGME-ready.

Is it just the Allaaaaaaaaaarm!! file your after?

If this is the case, PM me and I'll create the file and structure it correctly for you but it will be zipped up and you MUST have JSGME installed.

If you have 7zip, just right-click on the zipped file and click 'Open File with' and then '7zip File Manager'. Then move the folder inside into the JSGME folder. Nothing simpler.

Its in a winrar zip same as (almost) winzip file should be good to go im reasonably sure its got the alarm sequence that jimbuna mentioned if not ill check it out for you just drop a msg here and ill keep an eye open!

Unless winzip dosnt open winrar, winrar appears to open everything

Dale1957 08-14-10 08:42 PM

ok, I downloaded 7zip and JSGME. let's see if I can figure these out.:hmmm:

Jimbuna 08-15-10 05:34 AM
